 Day1: Arrive in Addis.

Arrive Addis Ababa and transfer to hotel. Depending on the time of arrival, city tour,

Day 2   Addis - Mekelle - Berhaile - Hamedela (180

You will spot Camel Caravans carry bar of Salt km, 8 hours) .Overnight Camping.

Day 3:Hamedela -Breakfast and excursion to the Dallol Depression. Overnight camping.

Day4:Hamedela - Dodom (20 kms) - Hike to Erta Ale. Overnight Camping

Breakfast and Dodom driving through a road passing through a difficult and challenging

terrain that brings us to the base of Erta Ale volcano, a place known as Dodom. After

arrival and a break, start of the walk to the volcano Erta Ale where we have opportunity to visit the lava lake. The gentle walk to the edge of the crater takes about three hours

through interesting lava formations. From the boiler starts a short descent to the floor of

this where there is an active crater containing the boiling lava lake. Night camping.

Day5:Erta Ale

 Full day visit the volcanic lake of Erta Ale volcano, one of the five permanent lava lakes inthe world, measuring approximately 60 kilometers wide and about 100 long. Night camping.

 Day6:Erta Ale - Dodom - Lake Afrera (30 kms)

Early morning and early return to Dodom driving Afdera bound lake, about 30 miles,

through fields of sand. Afdera The salt lake of 100 square kilometers and located about

-102 meters under the sea level, is where the Afar salt slabs collected using the

traditional method, while home to the island located lowest in the world, the island of

Frachetti. Overnight in camp.

Day7:Lake Afrera - Semera (200 kms)

Full day to transfer to Semera, capital of the Afar region, located about 200 kilometers to

the south. Overnight at Hotel Erta Ale.

Day8:Semera - Awash (365 kms)

Breakfast and start the journey to the Awash National Park, established in 1966 on a

sheet of acacias in the Rift Valley, where about 80 mammals inhabit. In the afternoon we

made a safari in search of wild animals, including copies of Beisa Oryx, gazelles, dik-dikantelopes, warthogs, hyenas, jackals and many species of birds native to the African

savannah, as hornbills and Kori Bustard.

Abyssinian Roller, Secretary Birds, Augur Buzzard, Namaqua Dove, Little bee eater, Madagascar Bee eater, Northern Carmine Bee eater, Stripped Kingfisher,African Scop Owl,Four banded Sand Grouse, …..etc

Night at the Awash Falls Lodge.

Day9: Awash - Addis:

Breakfast. Morning visit the hot springs in Awash and paved road back to Addis (200

kilometers). Lunch at restaurant on the way.

Day Use room in Best Western Hotel, farewell

dinner at traditional restaurant and transfer to airport for International Flight.
