Day 1: Day 1 – Arrival at Addis Ababa

Be welcomed by your guide on arrival at Addis Ababa Bole International Air Port, and

transfer in to your hotel. O/N – Addis Guest House .Have a full day city tour of Addis

to visit the National Archaeological Museum of Addis Ababa (where the fossil remains

of Lucy (3.25 mil years old) is kept in), the Holy Trinity Cathedral, Merkato – the

largest open air market in Africa, the Ethnological Museum, and finally drive to the Mt.

Entoto (3,200 meters above sea level) to have a panoramic view of the city Panaorama

Hotel.

Day 2 – Bahir Dar

Fly to BahirDar after check into your hotel drive 32 km south west of Bahir Dar to

visit the famous Blue Nile Falls which is locally known as Tis Isat which literally means

‘Smoke of Fire’. And, in the afternoon, you will have a remarkable boat trip on Lake

Tana (3,600 sq km) to visit the island monasteries of Ura Kidane Mihret and Azwa

Mariam which date back to the 14th Century AD and are decorated with paintings from

the 16th century AD. O/N – Tana Hotel or Summer Land Hotel

Day 3– Bahir Dar – Gondar

Fly to In Gondar, have a city tour of Gondar to visit the Imperial Castle Compound of

Gondar(17th and 18th Century AD, and UNESCO World Heritage Site), the bath or

Swimming pool of Emperor Fasiledes, and the church of Debre Birhan

Sillassie(17th Century AD) which is famous for its wall and ceiling paintings of angles

and scenes from the Bible. O/N – Goha Hotel or Land Mark Hotel

Day 4 – Axum

Fly to Axum Have a full day sightseeing tour of Axum to visit the Stele Park(UNESCO

World Heritage Site), the archeological Museum, the St. Mary of Zion church which is

believed to be the last resting place of the Original Ark of the Covenant, and the

finally visit the ruin palace of the Queen of Sheba. O/N –Yeha Hotel or Remahi Hotel.

Day 5 – Lalibela

Fly to Lalibela after check into the Hotel you will have visit the 11 rock hewn churches

,sightseeing tour of the churches of Lalibela (12th and 13th Century AD and UNESCO

World Heritage Site) which are divided into three groups. The churches of Lalibela

are Ethiopia’s top tourist site. O/N – Roha Hotel or Lal Hotel

Day 6-Lalibela

In the Morning you will have a mule trekking to the top of Asheton Mariam Church,

visit the semi-Monolithic church, afternoon visit the rest of the churches in Lalibela,

Day 7-Addis Ababa

Fly back to Addis Ababa transfer to your hotel Have a full day city tour of Addis to

visit the National Archaeological Museum of Addis Ababa (where the fossil remains of
